How Good is Dreamweaver CS5 for basic web development?

I know many people used to sneer at earlier versions of Dreamweaver, but is the latest version any good? I've just been given a copy of the CS5 (Web) and was curious if I should give it a try.

tynamite's avatar Of course it's good, it's made by Adobe. I don't use Dreamweaver, I use Notepad2, which is very much like Notepad, and I also use Sublime Text.

It's all about what workflow you like the best. I don't like Dreamweaver, so your question is better asked on the Sitepoint forum, rather than Quora.

Also, how would you define basic?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
