If two British people are working for a foreign employer in a foreign country, and one sexually harasses the other, can they be prosecuted under British law?

The people are in China. She is being sexually harrassed by unwelcome lewd and degrading comments. She has made her views clear. They are not stopping.

tynamite's avatar They cannot be prosecuted under British law, as British law does not apply in China. If it did, piracy and human rights violations would be eradicated. I can't see British law applying in a communist tyrannous country, can you?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
