Why are many women so attached to the men whom they lost their virginity?

I feel like, when compared to men, women are much more attached to that person, especially after the relationship has ended. Please feel free to try and debunk this perception in your answers.

Because it's scientifically proven that women start to feel emotions of love, for the men that they continually sleep with. There's a saying that female prostitutes and escorts have which goes like this. Every time I sleep with someone, a piece of my heart goes away. Coincidentally, women come up with that phrase of their own accord.

The same thing cannot be said for men.

yeah, oxytocin is good hormone, the love drug, and it's released post sex. Powerful...

increases trust and empathy.... so it's part of the story.

like this quote :

So trust and empathy are part of the story, but I wonder if other things lead to love, or if there's more to oxytocin.
