You're better off using a pencil and paper and scanning it in. If not, use Photoshop or Fireworks.

Photoshop for mocking up? I tried that what I have done in Flairbuilder or Balsamiq was much faster than in Photoshop or using a pencil...and much better looking.

Me

I've used Balsamiq and while I won't dispute that those tools are better looking, and maybe faster; they do not really help me be more creative and productive making layouts.

By using a pencil and paper, I can get ideas down quickly, without worrying about transforms and effects. It also allows me to produce better ideas as my imagination is required to determine how something will operate.

It's not about how it looks, it's about which is more helpful for generating ideas before I start designing.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
