Mike Skinner is a rapper and producer (The Streets, The D.O.T, Mike Skinner) who has produced seven albums and two mixtapes and has done a movie soundtrack. He has never rapped on a song that he didn't produce, so he proves that nothing is impossible in the world of music production.

deadmau5's primary music genre is progressive house, though he has done electro house, hip hop and tech house songs too. Not everyone will like his music as his music is repetitive, but as far as hypnotic dance music is concerned, he is the best at making hypnotic beats. Hypnotic, as in a beat that makes you want to tap your feet and bop your head from side to side. Whereas dubstep (see Skrillex) is all about having a filthy wub wub bass, deadmau5 is about having a hypnotic beat.
