Why do women care so much about how their hair look?

What the hell that mean? Women don't want to look good? Aren't nice and good the same thing?

I will explain.

As human beings, we all naturally want to make our mark on the world. Every one of us wants to make a change in the world that we live in. It is not enough to merely interact with the world. You can have money, education, friends and shelter, but if you cannot make a change in some way, your life doesn't mean anything. The happy people who aren't ambitious, change the behaviour of their friends, who in turn change the world around them in a way that the not ambitious person intended.

One of the ways that a woman can make a mark on the world, is to give herself an identity that we can all recognise her for. It's not much, but it's a foot in the door. You do the same thing, except not with your hair.

By a woman making an imprint of herself, she can portray herself in such a way, that it gives her an identity. This is the equivalent of you choosing to buy clothes because you want to give an image to others, of what you are. You can see this as a code, like nature has red in animals to mean danger. The code goes pretty much like this.

I'm a ___ sorta person, and I like to ___

Women say they do their hair to feel good about themselves, which technically makes no sense as these women can sometimes be insecure about their looks, so they don't feel good about themselves looks wise, like they say they do.

I come to the conclusion that when women say they do their hair to look good, what they really mean is that they do their hair to have an identity. You do the same thing with the clothes you choose to wear. You want people to have a certain impression of you, that's why you wear those clothes.

It is these sorts of girls who love to take loads and loads of photographs. They don't take these photographs because they want to be defined by their looks. They instead take these photographs, because they want to make an impact on the world. Except that they can't make an impact on the world, so rather than write Kelsey waz here on a table, they instead make the imprint on themselves, because that's all they can do. The photographs are the small subsection of society of which they feel important.

By making the imprint on themselves, this gives them the confidence that they can change the world, because they've already started with themselves. If you've cleaned your shoes this morning, you'll find it much easier to clean someone else's shoes later on in the day.

I can ask the same thing about men.
Why do men who wear their caps backwards, never wear it forwards?
It's the same thing. It's just that (better) hair makes women (more) feminine, whereas a better cap doesn't do the same for men.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
