Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
People are anonymous on Quora mainly for rubbish reasons, so now I'm questioning why I should bother answering them with my real name.
Tynamite's answer to How do you feel about people here who ask and answer anonymously and disable comments for their answers and questions?
I believe the real name system for Quora has encouraged people to behave more civil on this website, but has also negatively encouraged people to show face by not wanting to attribute themselves to bad traits.
I like the real name system, as it provides credibility (name) and context (bio) to our answers. We can't chat uninformed rubbish, and you can know our expertise to correct and ask us.
What do you think?
