Who is Tynamite?

This question is inspired by Aman Anand's answer to What made you quit or might make you quit Quora? ("The people..."), and also the Who Is/Was X? topic. I wanted to ask a few people who provide great answers on Quora if they would be willing to tell us more about themselves. Where did you grow up? How did you find Quora?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My background is irrelevant for this question. I found Quora from some Twitter buzz in the 2009 beta because some webmaster tweeted about it, or because I read about it on TechCrunch. I can't remember.

I am an introverted and quiet person. Most of the time I am saying nothing. I like to talk in short sentences, and say as few words as possible. So much so, that I repeat the same phrases and word patterns all the time, in my constant attempt to do so because I want to limit my volcabulary. My communication with people is brusque. Most of the time my mind is blank, and with nothing to say. I do not ask people questions. I am not facinated by the infinite types of people in this world. I don't care what everyone's favourite food or colour is. I do not like to think. I cannot be assertive in any way. Because I cannot be assertive, I feel uncomfortable at tills, can't take control of group conversations, or approach someone with a forthcoming nature - everything etc yes. I rarely address people by their names. I don't add to the room.

I am an outspoken and provocative person. It is nearly impossible for me to keep my mouth shut when I have something to say. Other people's words are the catalyst for the barrage of words that fly out my mouth. I always have to make myself heard. People have to listen to what I have to say. I like to have pointless conversations with people that last hours. I prefer to talk about abstract things. I don't ask people how their day is, or what their job is, as I don't like to talk about topical things and prefer abstract things. I like to be loud when I say things. I'm outlandish. I make others like me. I make others demand my time and attention, and seek my approval. I suck them into my vortex. I make others feel happy and secure. I make others express themselves. I make others feel I've casted a light in their day. When I talk everyone in the room shuts up to hear my crackpot words. People talk about the things I say to them, because I'm so outspoken and loud at times. People wonder how I manage to get so much attention, because I speak very few words to others. I can rival the presense and severity of the loudest and bitchiest bitch. I am highly attached to my friends, and people who aren't yet my friends.

I am clever. I'm cynical. I have a good outlook on life. I see life with a negative viewpoint. I'm a pessimist. I know lots of things. I'm responsible. I think and behave methodically. I see things in black and white. I believe in integrity and fairness. I have high social intelligence.

I am immature. I'm naive. I have a bad paranoia with people. I do and say lots of stupid things. I'm funny. I think and behave like a child. I still make jokes about sex. I do not understand a lot of the things that you say to me. I might tease you, or make you feel uncomfortable. I am the most predictable and easily manipulated person you can meet. I have hope for the future and with people.

I think you can map all my different behaviours, to the various sentences in my answer. It can be used as a sort of reference.

Do you have multiple personalities?

Me

No. I only behave in one way, and that's the way I behave. I don't know what sort of person you think I am in real life judging by the contradictory oxymoron paragraphs in my answer, but I'm very predictable and simplistic.

I'm trying to understand what people like about me myself, because I don't even know myself.

Me

I'll explain my simplicity in a more simpler way. My brother knows exactly how I'm going to react to any possible thing you could do or say to me, before you do it. Also I've had someone in my class admit to me, that everyone in my class knows how to work me up, when I told her I was very predicatable. Nothing is random about me. I think methodically, and I behave systematically.

What kinds of things work you up in class?

Me

I don't really know to be honest. All she meant is that she and the rest of the class knew how to press my buttons. Like for example, this one time me and this girl were sitting opposite each other, on desks but they had computers so we couldn't see each other, unless we moved our heads to the side. I accidentally put my feet on hers, and she and I were flustered, and some next girl picked up on that. So the next three times she put her feet on mine by accident, the next girl would tell the class that I did it, and that I was playing footsie with her, and I got annoyed. Stuff like that.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
