tynamite's avatar Yes in some ways, and no in others.

It's like making a salad with the ingredients you have in your house, and then going to a salad fair, and then tasting everyone else's salads.

You can learn how to make better use of your ingredients, and find new ingredients for your salad, but you can't make a different experience of eating salad, as nobody is there to help you make distinctly new kinds of salads.

If you want to broaden your horizons, and learn how to make much better salads, you can join the Writing Advice group, so you can read other people's recipie books there.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
