Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
Quora desperately needs to decide once and be done for it, whether it wants to be a self-gratification soapbox or an authoritive resource.
Quora needs to make up its mind, make a decision, and stick with it, and not try to be both things at once. They can't have their heart in 2 places.

Quora trying to do both things at once, among all channels of communication, is exactly why Reddit has both more authoritive content and better self-gratification micro content within its various channels (subreddits), than Quora does among their Quora Topics.
Quora is now an advertising website. But instead of people advertising products and services, they are instead advertising themselves.
