Do I have a problem if I feel bad if we are not scientific

Scientifically, sensitively and psychologically asked profoundly as we can.

tynamite's avatar Look at yourself Prosody Vereable Context. Whatever are we going to do with you? You know too much about the world and the people within it. Now you wish that others could see the light, like you can. Whatever are we going to do about that?

Some people don't care about science. All they care about, is that the thing they're using works, not the technology behind it. Some people here might think that I care about technology because I make websites. Well I don't. All I care about is expressing myself the way I want to. So if I have to make a website to do that, I will, I don't care about the W3C and WHATWG. All I care about is that Apple and Google don't screw up HTML5 with their proprietary WebKit standards, and that it's easy for me to use. If you want to fault me or be disappointed because I don't care about science, go ahead. I'll still make my websites regardless and have them done good.

The same basis applies for people who use the internet just for Facebook, YouTube and Hotmail. Why should they care about setting their home page or customising their browser window? Their computer works how it should work, and that's all that matters. I don't see you trying to customise cars or open the boot to see how that works.

That's what I thought.

People are more sensitive than you think. I know this, because you've asked this question. We all want the same things in life. We all want to be appreciated and we all want others to give us regard. We all seek attention. The quicker you realise this, the quicker you will be a happier person and be able to get along with people better. Despite our differences, ambitions, viewpoints, and segregations we make, we all want the same things. It's the human condition.

This leads me onto my 2nd point. We all have a specific thing that you can do to us, that will upset us. Some people get upset when you don't listen to them when they talk to you. Some people get upset when you critisize them. Some people get upset when you accuse them of lying. Everyone has their thing that upsets them.

The reason why some people are sensitive, is because they are insecure in some way. A person who feels they are not accepted, will feel insecure when you question their behaviour. A person who feels they are not appreciated, will feel insecure when you don't give them regard for the things that they say or do. A person who has trust issues, will feel insecure when around someone who they can't tell what someone's intentions for their actions are.

So to put the three examples into three words, some people are paranoid, some people are neglected, and some people are untrusting.

It is the level of which they are this way, which indicates whether they are insecure or not.

Why should you feel bad, if other people aren't sensitive? Isn't it good that they aren't affected by trivial petty things?

Should people be psychological? The answer is no. I would say that the people who have struggled more in life are, and the people with an easy life, tend to be not.

Most people in life are not self aware. Because we're on Quora, asking questions to find the greater meaning of things to broaden our understanding of the world, we sometimes forget that not everyone is like us. Some people are happy with the lives that they've got, and don't want to broaden their scope of understanding on the world, because they don't need to.

Most people in life aren't self aware. Most people don't know the exact reasons for why they behave in certain ways. They can only tell you why they chose certain decisions, and most times for some people, they can't.

Is such a thing a problem, because they're blind?
No, because they're happy, and not bringing harm on anyone.

In a world far away, in a parallel universe, there live people happy carefree drifters, who don't need to plan where they are going to be in the next 5 years, because they can guarantee that they won't be worse off in the next 5 years

There live people who spend their time Liking the status updates of their happy carefree drifter friends on Facebook, and ignoring the statuses about conspiracy theories, economic problems, and human rights violations overseas. It's not that they don't care, but that they can't change anything, so they don't need to know everything that goes on in the world. They have a good enough understanding of anything drastic you can talk to them about, already.

And anyway, why would you wanth to change how people behave by giving them suggestions of how to behave to be more aware of things?

They were happy. And you don't need to suggest your ideas to them to have them change, critisising the past ways of thinking that they had like it's wrong.

If you want to have a conversation to happy carefree drifters who can get on in life without ambition and take each day as it comes without worry, and talk to them about all the profound and significant things going on around them and in the world, you can.

Just don't expect them to become inquisitive. They will be interested in hearing what you have to say, and enjoy your words, but don't expect them to ask you further questions the following day.

Just be happy that you have open minded people you can talk to about things.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
