What is a better example of the American Dream: a poor kid who becomes President, like Clinton and Obama? Or a rich kid who becomes richer, like Donald Trump?

20th century immigrants 1

20th century immigrants 2

Back in the time
before the word "immigrant" came to mean "those nasty people who want to
come and take away the American dream", the term referred to the idea
that one could come to America and achieve the dream that one couldn't
achieve where one had been.

"The poor, the tired, the huddled
masses" always had dreams, but many countries still have no room for the
dreams to be accomplished, so there is still a need for "the American
dream".

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
