If I want to be the most well-known blog designer, would I be better off creating templates for Tumblr or Ghost?

My goal is to be known as "the guy" who knows blog design.

So in addition to the design aspects.

I want to be known for cranking out blogs, knowing content, knowing the tech side of it, just overall very well rounded.

Currently I am building out blog concepts and posting them on Dribbble and CodePen.

Blog Concepts - a collection by Juan Gallardo - CodePen

I have been doing a lot of wire frames for blogs that I want to build just for fun. Now the question is, should I then execute on Tumblr, maybe even free themes that I give away. Or should I build fewer but more tehcnically complex themes with Ghost which will also show my knowledge in things like Node.js, etc.

I think I could distribute more copies and make templates faster for Tumblr. But I think there could be more professional advantage for building for Ghost.

My goal is not to be the best designer (making the prettiest), nor to make tons of money by selling mainstream crap on themeforest. My goal is that when people think of Blogging, they think of me.

Pretty much when someone asks for my name and I say "Juan Gallardo", I want their next question to be "Oh the blog designer?"

tynamite's avatar Tumblr is more popular and Ghost is less saturated so why not do both?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
