Is feminist influence making boys too feminine?

Boys are being taught to behave more like girls, to sit still instead of horseplay, to be delicate instead of rough, and so on.

Do you agree this is happening? If so, is it a good thing?

tynamite's avatar I don't think so at all, as men are attracted to feminine women and women are attracted to masculine men. That is never going to change.

Feminists slate companies like Lego for having gendered toys, when they are only meeting demand. When a toy shop in Sweden removed gendered toys from the store to be gender neutral, it did not encourage boys to have gender neutral cooking and parenthood toys, and it did not encourage girls to have gender neutral action toys. These gendered roles are hard wired into people's brains and genetic make-up.

I don't think that feminism is making boys too feminine, but instead that it makes it acceptable to be a pansy. Feminism in no way changes the men that women are attracted to.

In the past it was illegal to be a homosexual, wrong to be a man who wasn't a provider, and before that a man who wouldn't fight the war in WWII was frowned upon. Nowadays men can be gay and choose not to fight the war. As society removes the need to be masculine by going to work, being straight and fighting the war, it's more acceptable to be a pansy.

Scientific research has shown that women who smoke while pregnant, increases the chance of the baby being born gay, as the alcohol increases the level of the stress hormone cortisol that affects the production of foetal sex hormones. This is what happens when a boy is born without masculinity. The most extreme cases want to be a transsexual. In the past a baby born with an imbalance of gender hormones would be condemned like Nikola Tesla was for being gay, but now they are accepted like Elton John.

Boys are not being taught to be pansies, just that the ones who are born pansies don't have to hide it or worry about fitting in. As we move towards an egalitarian society, this is bound to happen.

Men have nothing to worry about, as women are attracted to masculine men, not feminine pansy men. Just like how women aren't attracted to feminine men.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
