tynamite's avatar Before I started my novel, I thought that nobody else would read it apart from the people who live in my house. Now it's finished, it turns out that nobody in my house wants to read it, and that only 10 people are interested in reading it - some being abroad people off internet who I've never met.

People say I'm a very talented writer. I have chapters that will make you laugh all the way through, and ones that will make you sad. My first novel has vivid imagery and realistic characters with depth to them. My success is limited, even though I wrote a horror story that someone got scared reading.

Read my answer for To what extent does being a writer feel like "an effort" - just like other jobs - and to what extent does it feel like a privilege?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
