tynamite's avatar I have completed a BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care course, so I can effectively answer this question. I got 2 distinctions and a merit.

Are you familiar with Maslow's Hierachy of Needs? Go and look it up.

maslow's hierarchy of needs 1

maslow's hierarchy of needs 2

Update:

I was asked to improve this answer and explain what the pyramid actually means. This is not something that I can properly do as it was only covered in class once for 15 minutes. I cannot properly tell you what the pyramid acutally means, but I have an idea.

What the pyramid is trying to say, is that no matter how secure someone is in life, they will always try to move up the pyramid with whatever they do. The pyramid works upwards, so if a talented artist has skipped the yellow step, and hasn't yet reached the red one, they will not be happy no matter how good their life is, as their skipping of a step has put them at a conflict. This is why people who have less can be happier than people who have more.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
