Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

In the olden days, legs were considered obscene. In the Victorian times the legs of pianos would be covered, because it was thought that the sight of a piano leg would get a man aroused. Pianos would have draping fabric over them to cover the entire piano legs. When women started showing their ankles in those times, it had the modern day equaivilent of a woman wearing a skirt today. In those times it was obscene to have trousers that didn't cover the ankles, which we now call jack-ups.
This concept of depriving men from looking at what is attractive ever since. Also just like ankles did, breasts are gradually becoming less obscene in society too.
