Is an intelligent person necessarily a good leader?

Update (as requested)

What usually happens when an intelligent person is a leader, is that they find that most the people in their group are doing things wrong or not good enough. When they tell these people what to do, the request is overturned or frowned upon. Many people will want to do something their way, and the intelligent leader will not be happy about their group doing things the wrong way.

Intelligent people also do not know how to get the best out of people when working within a group. Their leadership is more like the powerful (intelligent) sail on a boat, rather than the faciliator (cook/nurse) on the ship who makes sure that everyone is happy and doing their desired role.

What do you mean by that? I have no idea what that means?

A leader who is not intelligent will ask their group for their ideas and input, and reward the workers of the group who participate, making them feel valued and happy. On the contrary, a leader who is intelligent will give the group their ideas and input, and will reward the workers of the group who do as they say or anything on their standard, making them feel happy to be within the group, but not happy to be a part of the group.

It is much easier to get approval and make happy, the lesser intelligent leaders. They also give their group more space to breathe and give them more autonomy.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
