Are children born of two ethnically diverse parents typically better looking than children of a single ethnic background? If so, why?

By observation, I met quite many people who just down straight gorgeous being born half-this+ half-that. I assume that there's a likelihood that as an interracial couple, you would likely pass the best genes of your race to your kids, therefore they always look more attractive than their peers?

tynamite's avatar For mixed race children to be attractive, both their parents have to be attractive!
If one parent is attractive, and one parent of another race isn't attractive, the children won't really come out as attractive.

Now for the politically incorrect part

Some races are not considered attractive in a multicultural society [naming no names], so for them to have mixed race children, their children will be considered (more) attractive just for the mere fact that they're not 100% ____.

I do not believe that mixed race people are any more attractive than people who are not. When people say that they find mixed race people more attractive, they are usually talking about mixed race black girls. About black girls, it's all about where you go. Black girls in the UK are much hotter than the ones in America, and that is a fact.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
