Why do the Greek people appear to believe that the world owes them a living and should fund their over-spending?

tynamite's avatar They don't. To be honest, Greece refused the free NSA money that Europe gave them to pay for their debts. They're still refusing the money. Greece believes that they can tax their way out of this mess - which they can't.

That's why the Greek citizens are protesting, because they'll suffer for the next couple of years when public services and the economy deprecates. That's why the Euro is being negatively affected. That's why countries who use the Euro are getting worried that their help is rejected.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
