Why should Quora be valued at $1.8billion?

tynamite's avatar It's worth a billion because the same people who run Quora, used to work for Facebook, so the billion dollars is prospective, not current.

As Quora's design and functionality is highly influenced by Facebook, and Facebook is worth $80bn , in a couple of years Quora would be worth around the same amount.

If I ran Quora, I would make it into a completely new website. I have my vision of what it could be, Quora has theirs, other companies (eg. Facebook) has theirs, and so do the people valuing it.

Quora is deliberately not using its full potential. The Quora admins are curbing its growth and development on purpose. It can be so much more.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
