Is starting a reply with, "Wrong," (too) aggressive?

I've seen this on Quora, and also on the 'net more generally, and have always read it as overly aggressive (as in, "nerd getting overemphatic about a detail that is not sufficiently important to be so impolite"). Am I wrong in that interpretation? For example, perhaps these days it is no more strong that starting with "No, ..."? And how about use in speech?

People reply questions on Quora with the word no all the time, and they don't get collapsed. No and wrong are kinda like the same word, so what's the difference?

And on another note, it's not offensive or a sin to be wrong. People just have a hard time accepting that they are.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
