tynamite's avatar The person who asked this question already knows that rape wrong. He is only asking the question to get a logical answer as to why, as Anthony Smith asks a lot of questions that question morals.

The reason why rape is wrong, is because it's a forceful act, that seizes ones control over their own body, and renders them powerless; in such a way that is more extreme than being beaten with a belt.

Because of this, rape is an act that is humiliating and psychologically crushing for the victim. We are lucky to be able to live our lives, typically not ever have to experience such degrading acts that restrict our ability to challenge thrice our personal space, movement, and bodies at the same time.

It is a weird concept because only a minute few people in society have experienced such a thing. The scars are more mental than they are physical, as the process is dehumanising. That's the best way I can put it. I'm sure I haven't described the reasoning and torment well enough, so correct me if I'm wrong.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
