tynamite's avatar I've never skipped lessons, okay I've skipped a couple of lessons for fun at times; but I ended up with 3 GCSEs when I left school, so I might as well have. I'm lucky to of been in sixth form and now university, so I strongly advice children not to skip lessons. Exams are now getting harder. If I was born a year later, certain subjects would have had their coursework removed. I'm lucky to be born when I was.

I've got a semi-photographic memory, so that everything I remember, I can see an image of where I got it from. When I'm answering questions on Quora, I can tell you which newspaper or website I got each piece of information from. When I'm doing an exam that I revised for, I actually see the old exam paper I revised from, the question and my handwriting underneath it. The images are a bit blurry, so I can't see all the words. I realised last month in October, that this wasn't normal. I never knew that people could think opinions, and not know whether it came from a book or hear say.

What does this have to do with the question?

I've learnt that a disadvantage of having my photographic memory, is that I find it hard to remember lots of information at once. I've only just found that out last September. When people are revising the whole exam paper of 6 pages for an exam I had, I could only remember a third of it. I had to retake that exam. I don't know how I'm going to get my degree, if I find it so hard to remember so much information at once. My brain just can't do it. I wish I could have known this years ago, so I could have looked for a way to deal with this before my first uni exams.

Most likely you're not like me, so that means that you can revise for things efficiently. If that is the case, you shouldn't skip your lessons, as I know how important it is, to be able to pass exams. I can't afford to skip any lessons now I'm in uni, unless they're stupid modules

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
