Who are the greatest thinkers today and in history on free will?

2011 answer

Aren't we all knowing someone like this? The people who are visionaries and fight oppression are great thinkers.

If you're fighting an oppressive totalitarian regime, you are expressing your free will to the fullest and strongest, by acting in the way that all circumstances and choices, forbid you to act in via force.

If you're a visionary, then you are a great thinker as you'll have ideas to change society, and have a mind that is so far removed than everyone else.

2019 answer

Sam Harris has to be the greatest thinker in the world of free will. He doesn't believe in free will, and thinks its an illusion. Also buy the Free Will book.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
