How do charity shops make a profit when they sell rubbish goods, at cheap prices, to few customers?
On the same street where there is a Tesco, Co-operative Food, and Aldi (supermarkets), and an Argos (department store), there are charity shops selling old VHS tapes, old fashioned clothes, old books, old board games, some jewellery, some toys, and other such stuff.
If very little people enter the charity stores, and the low quality products sell for a low prices to a few people, how are these shops managing to pay for the rent to keep the property under their rented ownership? How can they afford the rent?
