Has the removal of sexist adverts in advertising, given women more privilege in society, or do they have the same amount of privileges they had when they were given equal rights?

So sexist advertisements against women no longer exist like they did decades ago. So has anything changed in how women are treated? Are they treated better because of it? Have they gained more privilege because of it?

Or do they have the same amount of privileges they had when they were given equal rights?
